We are located in Brianza, in Viganò. Here, our family has been running a restaurant for more than 80 years, during which it has been able to enter into the hearts of the local territory and its guests.
A family history since 1940.
At the beginning it was a local trattoria. In the following years we have made it a place of excellence, so much so that it has been awarded a Michelin star since 1974. We are one of the longest-running starred restaurants in Italy.
At Pierino Penati the welcoming is made up of attention, care and familiarity. With us, guests have always loved to feel pampered, from start to finish. We welcome our guests with bread and salami, as we used to do in the past, to put them at ease with immediate and traditional flavours. Then we accompany them in the tasting until the great final with old-fashioned zabajone.

The dining rooms overlook the hills towards Montevecchia, on the sunniest day in the distance you can recognise the profile of the Ligurian Apennines, which frame the Po Valley. In summer you can dine in the Dehor, surrounded by the garden with the backdrop of the large beech tree.

On the first floor you can find the Hall of Mirrors: a more intimate space, with the terrace that overlooks the garden.
